As I've said before, we are moving in a couple of months. Been looking at houses online. All the houses in the market have these raised panel cabinets in ALL the kitchens. I hate them! No originality..all the suburban houses are the same. I like the look of smooth minimal modern cabinets. But I'm sure I'll have no luck. So I found this idea on apartment therapy. Aluminum sheeting on the inside panel. Not sure what I would paint the perimeter. Just an idea if I can't resurface the cabinets with IKEA cabinet doors.
